During the second week of RSSC, over 70 entrepreneurs partook in the programme, with 50+ participants in Lahore and 25+ in Peshawar, who thoroughly enjoyed the sessions starting with ice-breaker activities on day one. Participants represented various parts of Pakistan, including remote areas and ethnic minorities.

Training and workshops were held on a variety of topics to help turn their ideas into successful businesses. The sessions included Idea Validation, Business Model Canvas, Digital Marketing, Media and Analytics, and Communication & Pitching, which were conducted by area experts.

The orientation session covered program objectives, goals, deliverables, and evaluation criteria. The foundation courses provided a fundamental understanding of subject areas such as finance, pitching, and startup formation. The ice-breaking activities included team building. The Business Model Canvas was used to design and analyze business models. Startups learned how to create, design and launch a brand. Pitching a startup was discussed as a means of securing funding and support.

The Rising Stars Startup Competition is a nine-month programme that offers a thriving ecosystem for entrepreneurs to learn and turn their ideas into successful businesses. Participants will have the opportunity to network and receive training from industry experts, mentors, trainers, and investors. The programme also offers various awards, including the Rising Star Award for the winner of the Rising Stars Startup Competition, with the second and third winners receiving cash prizes.
